12-Week Enrichment Course

Course Description

Students will explore the beauty of God's creation through hands-on art experiences using natural materials found on the ranch. Each week, children will create unique art projects while learning about the plants, trees, wildlife, textures, colors, and seasonal changes found in nature. The course encourages creativity, observation, fine motor development, and appreciation for the natural world while introducing a variety of artistic techniques and mediums.

Learning Objectives

Students will:

  • Develop observation skills through guided nature exploration.
  • Create artwork using natural materials and mixed media.
  • Learn basic artistic techniques including drawing, painting, printing, sculpting, and collage.
  • Identify common plants, trees, and natural objects found in Arizona.
  • Strengthen creativity and self-expression.
  • Practice fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Demonstrate respect for nature by collecting materials responsibly.
  • Build confidence through independent and collaborative art projects.
